Button Head socket screws have a lower head depth than the equivalent size socket cap screw which combined with the rounded head form give a more aesthetic look. To order, click on the 'Add to Order' button alongside the item of your choice. You can select the quantity on the order form (default is 1). To continue ordering other items, use the 'Continue Shopping' button on the order form.
Socket sizes
You can review and edit your order, or submit your order at any time by using the button at the bottom of each list.
Button heads have a smaller socket size and shallower depth socket than the equivalent sized cap screw and so more care should be taken not to over-torque, especially on the very small sizes, to avoid rounding of the socket edges. It's also crucial to ensure that your hex key of driver is completely inserted before applying significant torque. If your application is for a high torque connection or the screws will be regularly removed and re-used, we would suggest that a socket cap screw is considered.
