You can pay for your goods via Cheque, by Credit or Debit card, or by PayPal shown below
Our minimum goods order value is only £3.00 (this is the goods value excluding the P&P costs) for order paid for by cards or PayPal.
We regret that due to the ever increasing costs levied by banks on commercial business taking cheques, our minimum order value for orders paid by cheque is £6.00
The shopping cart prevents progress to the payment stage until the value is equalled or exceeded. Orders placed for payment by cheque for values less than £6.00 plus postage cannot be processed.
Whatever payment option you choose, you will always see the total order value, including postage costs, before you need make any commitment to order or be asked enter any personal information (unlike the majority of on-line ordering systems).
The prices listed on our website include the current rate of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the UK (20%) When items are added to the shopping cart, the goods are displayed net of VAT and the VAT is shown separately.
THE TOTAL PRICE YOU PAY IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS DISPLAYED ON THE SALES PAGES.
If your are in a non-European Community Country, the VAT element is not charged once your country has been selected on the address section.
If you are in a European Community Country and you have a valid ECC VAT number, the VAT is not charged once your VAT number has been automatically verified as a valid VAT registration number.
Payment by Cheque (UK customers only)
We realise that you will want your goods promptly and so, if paying by personal cheque, we will dispatch your goods on the understanding that your payment is sent by return post. We have found that the vast majority of our customers are honest and pay promptly. Please do not cause us to change our view. Please ensure you enter your telephone number if paying by cheque.
Your order will be processed much more efficiently and quickly if you place your order via the website and select the 'pay by cheque' option instead of compiling your order via the website and then printing and posting/faxing the order list.
Please do not send cash in the post
We reserve the right to ask for pre-payment for orders totalling to a high value.
Payment by Credit & Debit Card
If you select this option on the shopping cart, when you elect to proceed to payments, you will automatically be transferred to our secure server hosted by Sagepay (the new name for Protx). Sagepay use the most up to date encryption methods to ensure that your card information remains confidential.
Payment by PayPalTM
We can accept PayPal payments in either US Dollars, Euros or Pounds Sterling. After placing your order, the shopping cart system will offer you the selection of payment methods. If you chose PayPal, you will be automatically taken to our account on the secure PayPal website.
Please note that we do not accept PayPal 'E-cheques'
If you have a query that you require answering before you make payment, please e mail or note your query on the order form comments section. Your order will still be forwarded to us even if you do not pay immediately via PayPal or Protx.
After you submit your order and after you have completed one of the payment options, you will be sent an automatic acknowledgement. In the unlikely event that we have a problem with any aspect of your order, we will then contact you again via e mail. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WITHIN A FEW MINUTES - THIS MAY MEAN THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED AN INVALID E MAIL ADDRESS.
Making changes to, or cancelling your order
We will dispatch your goods at the earliest opportunity. If you wish to cancel or query any aspect of your order, it is important you do this as soon as you can after you receive the order confirmation e mail, as the vast majority orders are despatched with 24 hours of order, and usually same day for orders placed before 2pm. We will exchange or credit for all goods that are returned un-used in the original packaging (less the P&P costs). Orders cancelled before despatch will be refunded for in full.
Due to the vast range (and occasional spec change made by engine manufacturers), when ordering engine bearings whenever possible we recommend that you check the old units against the dimension tables on our engine bearing pages. We will always exchange incorrect units (returned in the original packaging) but obviously this is an inconvenience to you, and us, and is best avoided.
