This page lists our
range of 'Trend SnappyTM'
quick change drill.
We have used these drills in our workshop
ourselves for many years and so can highly recommend them for jobs which require
the repeated changing of drill bits. In addition, the 1/4" hex drive spigot
enables them to be used not only with the Trend spring loaded chuck (listed
below) but also in any 1/4" hex drive electric screwdriver*.
If eventually the need arises, the drill can be
removed from the collet and replaced by the same sized drill bits from our
standard range.
*Drill bits will only be positively retained when
used vertically in a Trend or similar snap-fit chuck.

Additional
Mounting Brackets |
|
Designed and produced by
us, these sets of extra mounting brackets enable you to easily and
quickly move your set of lights between models.
They have a similar footprint to the brackets supplied with the
lights, and so can be mounted using the spare double sided pads.
Alternatively any double sided tape can be used - our
thin servo mounting tape is an idea solution.
We have also incorporated countersunk mounting holes so self tapping
screws can be used if preferred (6 screw are included with each set.
Our brackets are more robust than the brackets supplied in the light
kit and are designed to withstand many light changes so you can move
the lights across your fleet.
The lights are slid into place in the same manner as the kit
supplied brackets, and are released by depressing the end tab and
sliding the light out in the reverse direction.
